Pair of beautifully handcrafted octagonal wood canisters, each signed on the base Hand Crafted by George E. Weisner. These were originally found in Santa Fe, NM, an area known for its artisan craft traditions.
Made from contrasting woods (maple and mahogany tones), both pieces are solid, heavy, and well-crafted with snug lids and locator pegs for a secure fit. The lids are nearly identical in size, giving the set a cohesive, balanced look when displayed together, even though one is taller.
